Madina is one of the holiest places for Muslims. This is where people come to perform Hajj. This can be hard for the people sometimes. Especially because Madina is a desert country. Sheikh Ismail is an 80-year-old man who lives in Madina. He has been giving the pilgrims free dates and tea. Ismail has promised to do this for the rest of his life.

মদিনা মুসলমানদের অন্যতম পবিত্রতম স্থান। এখানেই মানুষ হজ পালন করতে আসে। এটি কখনও কখনও মানুষের জন্য কঠিন হতে পারে। বিশেষ করে মদিনা মরুভূমির দেশ বলে।
শেখ ইসমাইল একজন ৮০ বছর বয়সী ব্যক্তি যিনি মদিনায় থাকেন। তিনি হজযাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে খেজুর ও চা দিয়ে আসছেন। ইসমাইল তার বাকি জীবন এই কাজ করার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন।

Madina is also where he was buried after death. Every year, thousands visit Madina and Mecca to perform Hajj. Hajj can be a difficult time. Especially as it is done in a desert country. Sheikh Ismail is an 80-year-old man who lives in Madina. He has been giving the pilgrims free dates, tea, and coffee. Sheikh Ismail has been doing this for the last 40 years. Sometimes, he also serves the pilgrims sweetmeats (mishti). Ismail has promised to do this for the rest of his life.

মদিনা ইসলামের অন্যতম পবিত্রতম স্থান। মুসলমানদের কাছে এটি বিশ্বের দ্বিতীয় সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শহর। যার কারণ এখানেই নবী মুহাম্মদ প্রথম মুসলমান সম্প্রদায়ের সূচনা করেছিলেন। মদিনাও সেখানেই যেখানে তাকে মৃত্যুর পর সমাহিত করা হয়েছিল। প্রতি বছর হাজার হাজার মানুষ হজ পালনের জন্য মদিনা ও মক্কা যান। হজ একটি কঠিন সময় হতে পারে। বিশেষ করে যেহেতু এটি একটি মরুভূমির দেশে করা হয়।
শেখ ইসমাইল একজন ৮০ বছর বয়সী ব্যক্তি যিনি মদিনায় থাকেন। তিনি হজযাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে খেজুর, চা, কফি দিয়ে আসছেন। শেখ ইসমাইল গত ৪০ বছর ধরে এ কাজ করে আসছেন। কখনও কখনও, তিনি হজযাত্রীদের মিষ্টান্নও (মিষ্টি) পরিবেশন করেন। ইসমাইল তার বাকি জীবন এই কাজ করার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন।

Mainly because this is where the Prophet organized the first Muslim community. Madina is also where he was entombed. Every year, thousands of pilgrims visit the holy city of Madina and Mecca to perform Hajj. During Hajj, the pilgrims at times become quite stressed out. Sheikh Ismail is an 80-year-old Syrian man living in Medina for the last 40 years. He has been helping the pilgrims by serving them free dates, tea, and coffee. Sheikh Ismail has continued doing this for the last 40 years. He also occasionally serves the pilgrims with various sweetmeats which are famous in his home region. He sits near the Holy Mosque of Medinatul Munawwarah, which is a holy place in Islam. Everyone visiting Madina can find him in the vicinity of the mosque. Not only during the pilgrimage season, however, but throughout the year. This kind gesture by Sheikh Ismail has been brought to light thanks to viral videos. He loves helping pedestrians and the pilgrims of Hajj. He has vowed to continue doing this for the rest of his life.

মদিনাকে ইসলামের অন্যতম পবিত্রতম স্থান হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। ইসলামিক উৎসগুলো সর্বজনীনভাবে এটিকে বিশ্বের দ্বিতীয় সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শহর হিসাবে বিবেচনা করে। প্রধানত কারণ এখানেই নবী প্রথম মুসলমান সম্প্রদায়কে সংগঠিত করেছিলেন। মদিনাও সেখানেই যেখানে তাকে সমাধিস্থ করা হয়েছিল। প্রতি বছর হাজার হাজার হজযাত্রী পবিত্র নগরী মদিনা ও মক্কায় হজ পালন করতে আসেন। হজের সময় হজযাত্রীরা মাঝে মাঝে বেশ মানসিক চাপে পড়েন। শেখ ইসমাইল একজন ৮০ বছর বয়সী সিরিয়ান ব্যক্তি যিনি গত ৪০ বছর ধরে মদিনায় বসবাস করছেন। তিনি হজযাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে খেজুর, চা, কফি পরিবেশন করে সাহায্য করে আসছেন।
