নারী ফুটবলারদের বেতন বাড়াতে চায় বাফুফে। নারী জাতীয় দলের সদস্যরা বাফুফেকে অনুরোধ করেছেন। জাতীয় দলের সদস্যদের বেতন দেওয়া হয় ৬ হাজার থেকে ২০ হাজার টাকা। শুধু অধিনায়ক সাবিনা খাতুন পান ২০ হাজার টাকা। ফুটবলাররা বেতন প্রতি মাসে ৫০,০০০ টাকা করার অনুরোধ করেন। তারা আরও স্বাস্থ্যকর খাবারের জন্যেও অনুরোধ করেছেন।

নারী ফুটবলারদের বেতন বাড়াতে চায় বাংলাদেশ ফুটবল ফেডারেশন (বাফুফে)। এটি এসেছে নারী জাতীয় দলের সদস্যরা বাফুফে সভাপতির কাছে অনুরোধ করার পর। গত বছর তারা সাফ চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপ জেতার পর, নারী ফুটবলারদের কম বেতন নজর কেড়েছে। জাতীয় দলের সদস্যদের বেতন দেওয়া হয় ৬০০০ টাকা থেকে ২০,০০০ টাকার মধ্যে।
