Team Atlas was the Bangladeshi team at the Robotics World Cup 2023. They got second place. It is one of the largest robotics competitions in the world. More than 300 teams take part in it. These teams came from 22 countries all over the world. The competition took place in India from July 25 to 27. Team Atlas brought two robots to the competition.

টিম অ্যাটলাস ছিল রোবোটিক্স বিশ্বকাপ ২০২৩ এ বাংলাদেশি দল। তারা দ্বিতীয় স্থান পেয়েছে। এটি বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম রোবোটিক্স প্রতিযোগিতার একটি। এতে তিন শতাধিক দল অংশ নেয়। এই দলগুলো সারা বিশ্বের ২২টি দেশ থেকে এসেছে। প্রতিযোগিতাটি ২৫ থেকে ২৭ জুলাই ভারতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। প্রতিযোগিতায় দুইটি রোবট নিয়ে এসেছিল টিম অ্যাটলাস।

২০২৩ সালের রোবোটিক্স বিশ্বকাপে টিম অ্যাটলাস ছিল একমাত্র বাংলাদেশি দল। তারা প্রতিযোগিতায় দ্বিতীয় স্থান পেয়েছে। এটি বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম রোবোটিক্স প্রতিযোগিতার একটি। এতে তিন শতাধিক দল অংশ নেয়। এই দলগুলো মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র এবং রাশিয়া সহ বিশ্বের ২২টি দেশ থেকে এসেছিল। প্রতিযোগিতাটি ২৫ থেকে ২৭ জুলাই ভারতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল।

Team Atlas from Bangladesh ranked second worldwide at the World Robotics Championship 2023. It is one of the largest robotics competitions in the world, with more than 300 participating teams. The global competition is also known as Robotics World Cup 2023. This year the competition had 22 countries competing, including the USA, Russia, and more. The competition took place at Delhi, India, from July 25 to 27. “Technologies for a Better World” was the official motto of the World Cup. The event was organized across nine categories, including the ‘WRC Innovation Contest’. Team Atlas became the first runners-up in this category. In this category, teams showed their innovation by published research work or field data. The segment is judged on how the robots of the participating teams showcase accuracy, utility, and innovation. This year, Team Atlas brought two robots; Defender, and Atlas Spark. Defender is a firefighting robot. Atlas Spark is a multifunctional robot used for mining, investigation, and rescue. The team members were Sunny Jubayer from BRAC University, Kazi Mahi, Mohaimenul Islam Sohan among others. The team was advised by a BRAC University senior lecturer. The faculty commended the super-talented team for their hard work.
