BRACU Duburi is a team from BRAC University. They came second in RoboSub 2023. RoboSub is a competition where robots are judged. The Bangladeshi team also won the Best Team Award. Students create robots that can go under the water. The students are then judged by these robots. A team from Singapore came in first place. A Canadian team got third place.

ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ব্র্যাকইউ ডুবুরি হল একটি দল। তারা রোবোসাব ২০২৩ এ দ্বিতীয় স্থানে এসেছে। রোবোসাব হল একটি প্রতিযোগিতা যেখানে রোবটদের বিচার করা হয়। সেরা দলের পুরস্কারও জিতেছে বাংলাদেশি দলটি। শিক্ষার্থীরা রোবট তৈরি করে যা পানির নিচে যেতে পারে। এরপর এসব রোবট দিয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের বিচার করা হয়। সিঙ্গাপুরের একটি দল প্রথম স্থানে এসেছে। তৃতীয় স্থান পেয়েছে কানাডার একটি দল।

BRACU Duburi is a team from BRAC University. They came second in RoboSub 2023, an international competition by RoboNation. In addition to becoming the first runners-up, the Bangladeshi team was awarded the Best Team Award by the judges. RoboSub is one of the biggest student competitions for AUVs. AUVs are remote control cars that can travel underwater. Teams from around the world take part in this competition using different kinds of AUVs. This year more than 34 teams from countries like Singapore and India took part in the competition. The National University of Singapore secured first place and the University of Alberta achieved third place. BRAC University from Bangladesh managed to get the 2nd spot.

ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ব্র্যাকইউ ডুবুরি হল একটি দল। তারা রোবোনেশনের একটি আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিযোগিতা রোবোসাব ২০২৩ এ দ্বিতীয় স্থানে এসেছে। প্রথম রানার আপ হওয়ার পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশি দল সেরা দলের পুরস্কারে ভূষিত হয় বিচারকদের দ্বারা। রোবোসাব হল এইউভি এর জন্য শিক্ষার্থীদের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রতিযোগিতাগুলোর একটি। এইউভি হল রিমোট কন্ট্রোল গাড়ি যা পানির নিচে ভ্রমণ করতে পারে।
বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দল বিভিন্ন ধরনের এইউভি এর ব্যবহার করে এই প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নেয়। এ বছর সিঙ্গাপুর ও ভারতের মতো দেশ থেকে ৩৪টিরও বেশি দল প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিয়েছে। সিঙ্গাপুর জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রথম স্থান এবং আলবার্টা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৃতীয় স্থান অর্জন করেছে। বাংলাদেশের ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় দ্বিতীয় স্থান পেতে সক্ষম হয়েছে।

BRACU Duburi is a student-team from BRAC University. They have secured the second overall position in RoboSub 2023, an international student competition hosted by RoboNation. In addition to becoming the first runners-up, the Bangladeshi team also received an Ingenuity Special Award in this competition, which is also known as the Judges Best Team Award. RoboSub is deemed one of the largest student competitions for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Teams from around the world compete in various challenges and complex tasks using experimental AUVs. They attempt to replicate real-world underwater exploration, seafloor mapping, and sonar localization. RoboSub 2023 consisted of over 34 international teams from countries such as Singapore, India, and Canada. The National University of Singapore secured first place and the University of Alberta achieved third place overall in this year’s competition. BRAC University from Bangladesh managed to clinch the 2nd spot. During the RoboSub 2023 finals held on August 6 in the USA, Duburi won with their AUV called the BRACU Duburi 4.0. According to the team, the BRACU Duburi AUV is capable of autonomous underwater navigation as well as data collection powered by machine learning.
