বাংলাদেশে জালের মত ছড়িয়ে আছে অনেক নদী। আমাদের নদীগুলো যেমন বড়, তেমনি গভীর। সবচেয়ে বড় নদীগুলো হলো: পদ্মা, মেঘনা ও যমুনা। আর ঢাকার সবচেয়ে কাছের নদীটি হলো বুড়িগঙ্গা। এদেশের মানুষেরা নদী খুব ভালোবাসে। নদী থেকে মাছ ধরে, নৌকায় করে এখানে সেখানে যায় আর মনের সুখে গান গায়।

Bangla Translation.
Rivers are scattered all across Bangladesh like nets. Our rivers are as big as they are deep. The biggest rivers in our country are: Padma, Meghna and Jamuna. Additionally, the closest river to Dhaka is the Buriganga. The people of this country love rivers deeply. They catch fish from them. They use boats to travel along these rivers and sing their hearts out.
