গত কয়েকদিন ধরে বন্যায় প্লাবিত হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের পূর্বাঞ্চল। প্রবল বর্ষণের কারণে এগুলোর সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। দেশের ৬৪টি জেলার মধ্যে ১১টিতে বন্যা হয়েছে। সেনাবাহিনী এসব এলাকার মানুষকে সাহায্য করার চেষ্টা করছে। শিক্ষার্থীরাও সাহায্য করতে এগিয়ে আসে। তারা অনুদানের সাহায্যে খাবার এবং রসদ সংগ্রহ করেছিল। এসব এলাকায় এখন ত্রাণ কাজ করছে সেনাবাহিনী ও শিক্ষার্থীরা।

Eastern Bangladesh has been flooded for the last few days. They were caused by heavy rains. Flooding happened in 11 out of the country’s 64 districts. The army is trying to help people from these areas. The students also came to help. They gathered food and supplies with the help of donations. The army and students are now doing relief work in these areas.

4.5 million are affected by floods in eastern Bangladesh. These floods were caused by heavy rains. Rescuers are trying to help the people from flooded areas. Nearly 2 lakh people were taken to emergency shelters. 11 of the country’s 64 districts were affected by the flooding. The flooding happened in Sylhet, Cumilla, Feni, and Cox’s Bazar. Feni was hit the worst.
The army and the navy are trying to rescue people, with speed boats and helicopters. However, the students once again stepped up for their country. These young people have gathered food and supplies from donations and NGOs. They are now engaged in relief work. They are working side by side with the army to distribute food and supplies to the flood-affected areas.

The annual monsoon rains in Bangladesh cause widespread destruction every year. However, climate change is shifting weather patterns and increasing the number of extreme weather events.
