Planetary alignment will happen on the evening of 21 January in Bangladesh. Planetary alignment is when many planets gather close to the sun at the same time. All planets move around the sun. At one point, all of the planets gather in a straight line. This is when they can be seen in the night sky. Tell a friend to look at the sky this Tuesday!

বাংলাদেশে ২১ জানুয়ারী সন্ধ্যায় গ্রহগুলোর মহাসংযোজন ঘটতে যাচ্ছে।গ্রহসমূহের সারিবদ্ধতা হলো যখন একই সময়ে অনেক গ্রহ সূর্যের কাছাকাছি আসে। সমস্ত গ্রহ সূর্যের চারপাশে ঘোরে। এক পর্যায়ে, সমস্ত গ্রহ একটি সরলরেখায় একত্রিত হয়। এই সময় তাদের রাতের আকাশে দেখা যায়। এই মঙ্গলবার আপনার একজন বন্ধুকে আকাশের দিকে তাকাতে বলুন!

All planets revolve around the sun along the same path. Eventually, the planets catch up with one another over time. Once the planets meet, it looks like they are aligned. However, not all planets move at the same speed. This speed depends on their distance from the sun. This is why planetary alignments do not feature the same number of planets. In Bangladesh, on the evening of January 21, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn will align in the sky. Tell your friends to keep an eye out this Tuesday!

২০২৫ সালের শুরুটা হয়েছে একটি উল্কাবৃষ্টির সঙ্গে। এবার ঘটতে যাচ্ছে গ্রহগুলোর মহাসংযোজন! গ্রহগুলোর মহাসংযোজন তখন ঘটে যখন কয়েকটি গ্রহ একই সময়ে সূর্যের কাছাকাছি চলে আসে। সব গ্রহ সূর্যের চারপাশে একই পথে ঘোরে। সময়ের সাথে সাথে তারা একে অপরের সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়, এবং যখন তারা একত্রিত হয়, তখন মনে হয় তারা এক সরল রেখায় রয়েছে।

All planets revolve around the sun along the same orbital plane, known as the ecliptic on Earth. All of them travel along it and eventually catch up with one another over time. Once the planets meet, it looks as though they are aligned as they move past Earth. However, this line is never perfectly straight. With each planet moving at different speeds, the alignment will only last for a brief time. This speed depends on each planet’s distance from the sun. This is also why planetary alignments do not always feature the same number of planets. In Bangladesh, on the evening of January 21, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn will align in the sky. Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye. ২০২৫ সাল শুরু হলো উল্কাবৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে। আরেকটি জ্যোতির্বিদ্যাগত দৃশ্য আসছে যা আপনার নজরে থাকা উচিত। গ্রহগুলোর মহাসংযোজন হল যখন একাধিক গ্রহ সূর্যের একপাশে একসাথে একত্রিত হয়। আমেরিকায়, এটিকে কথ্য ভাষায় “গ্রহীয় কুচকাওয়াজ” বলা হয়। সমস্ত গ্রহ একই কক্ষপথে সূর্যের চারপাশে ঘোরে, যা পৃথিবীতে গ্রহগ্রহণ নামে পরিচিত। তারা সকলেই এর সাথে ভ্রমণ করে এবং অবশেষে সময়ের সাথে সাথে একে অপরের সাথে মিলিত হয়। গ্রহগুলি মিলিত হওয়ার পরে, মনে হয় যেন তারা পৃথিবীর পাশ দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় সারিবদ্ধ।
