হাসিনা খাতুন একজন ৫১ বছর বয়সী একজন নারী। তিনি আবার প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে যোগদান করেছেন। এই মুহুর্তে, সে ভাটপাড়া সরকারি বিদ্যালয়ের ৫ম শ্রেণীর একজন শিক্ষার্থী। পরিবার দরিদ্র হওয়ায় হাসিনার শৈশবে স্কুলে যাওয়ার যথেষ্ট সৌভাগ্য হয়নি। খুব অল্প বয়সেই তার বিয়ে হয়েছে। তবে, এখন সে নিজের জন্য প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় শেষ করতে চায়।

হাসিনা খাতুন ঝিনাইদহের একজন ৫১ বছর বয়সী এক নারী। তিনি আরও শিক্ষা পেতে চেয়েছিলেন, এবং তাই তিনি আবার প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে যোগদান করেছেন। হাসিনা খাতুন এখন ভাটপাড়া সরকারি বিদ্যালয়ের ৫ম শ্রেণীর একজন শিক্ষার্থী। হাসিনা বিশ্বাস করেন যারা শিক্ষিত নয় তারা অন্ধকারে বাস করে। তার পরিবার দরিদ্র ছিল বলে তার শৈশবকালে স্কুলে যাওয়ার যথেষ্ট সৌভাগ্য হয়নি।

Later, she was married off because of her family’s financial woes. She has been busy with family and children since then. She has a husband, a son, and a daughter. Her son and daughter are already married now. Though she did not know how to read and write, she ensured that her son got an education. Hasina Khatun said she wants to be educated only for the sake of it, as she does not want to study for a job or any other reason at this age. “Enlightenment is my main desire,” she said. Seeing her desire to study, the teachers accepted her into the school. Hasina Khatun is now a student at Bhatpara Government Primary School. Her roll number is 27 out of 37 students. Hasina comes to school almost every day.
